OUTREACH PROGRAMS
The people of All Saints participate in many different programs and with many organizations.  Some of these programs are featured here.  Each individual program is an important part of how we reach out beyond our doors to help others in the world.

MT. MERU COFFEE PROJECT
The Mt. Meru Coffee Project is a partnership between Lutheran Churches in northern Tanzania, Africa and southeastern Wisconsin,  along with Alterra Coffee Roasters in Milwaukee.  The goal of this project is to purchase coffee directly from the farmers to increase the incomes of families in Tanzania and to generate funds for the Mt. Meru Diocese.

KETTLE MORAINE FOOD PANTRY
The Kettle Moraine Food Pantry  served it's first clients in 1983.  It's mission is to provide supplemental food to those in the Kettle Moraine school district who are in need.  The current pantry has been located within All Saints Lutheran Church since the fall of 2001.

HEIFER INTERNATIONAL
Founded in 1944, Heifer International is a humanitarian assistance organization that works to end world hunger and protect the earth. Through livestock, training and "passing on the gift," Heifer has helped seven million families in more than 125 countries improve their quality of life and move toward greater self-reliance. Heifer helps build strong communities because each project participant agrees to pass on the gift of animal offspring, training, or skills to another family in need.

YOU CAN HELP BY PURCHASING SCRIP
Scrip is a term that means “substitute money”.  When you purchase scrip, you’re purchasing negotiable gift certificates and prepaid cards that are used just like cash. You can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase we earn revenue for our organization that helps us to help others.

The Great Lakes Scrip Center acts on behalf of churches, schools and other non‑profit organizations to purchase large amounts of scrip from grocery stores, department stores, and other retailers.  Because the scrip is purchased with cash up front, the participating retailers offer a substantial discount.  Our organization buys the scrip from Great Lakes Scrip Center at a discount, and re-sells the certificates to families like yours for full face value.  The discount - from two to fifteen percent or more –  is our organization’s revenue   This revenue is used to help us further our outreach mission.

For the latest retailers list and information go to Great Lakes Scrip.  You can also print this order form,  fill it in, and bring it to church with you on Sunday.  Please contact the church office for more information.
